We empower our Homies with practical job training skills tailored to their abilities and interests. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and structured activities, we help develop independence, confidence, and workplace readiness—preparing them for meaningful opportunities where possible.
JOB training SKILLS
We help our Homies build essential life skills for greater independence and confidence in everyday tasks. From personal care and hygiene to cooking, budgeting, and communication, our structured activities provide hands-on learning in a supportive and nurturing environment.
DAILY LIFE SKILLS
We create opportunities for our Homies to build meaningful connections and develop essential social skills. Through group activities, guided interactions, and real-world practice, we help foster communication, teamwork, and confidence in social settings.

WE ARE BJs HOUSE
A nonprofit day program providing a safe, supportive space for special needs and developmentally disabled adults (ages 22-40), giving parents and caregivers peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in a secure, nurturing, and caring environment while they work, play, relax, or anything in between.
